Currently, the web views of Instagram accounts play a minor role. Companies can include their accounts in the communication and users can view published photos. But that's about it. There is no way to publish photos, there is no follower management and there are no statistics.
Tomas Jasovsky shows in his design study what the web view of Instagram could look like and how different features could be integrated. For Instagram users, the feature is certainly less interesting. However, as more and more companies also rely on Instagram, tools and functions are needed to facilitate administration.
Tomas lets himself be influenced a little by Twitter and so he adds a new follower system in addition to the statistics and the possibility to publish photos. Instagram users can be packed into lists and assigned to specific topics. Companies could, for example, track the activities of competitors.
The statistics are reminiscent of Facebook and would give companies a quick overview of interactions, the reach of photos and the development of followers.
